With over 17 large interior shelving units, 15' feet of interior vertical height and double entry this finished greenhouse will be a great home for the San Juan Ecology Centers new "Food Lab" program. This program will educate schools groups and other visitors to the Center about how to grown their own food.

I really like this greenhouse but I do have a few questions. Although it is roundish it has large flat spots and was wondering if you had any problems with it in high winds? We get 70+ mph. winds where I live with records of over 100 mph. gusts but those are very rare. We live in Montana about 65 miles from the Rocky Mountain front where the trees grow sideways near the mountains but where I live we're pretty much in the open prairie. Sometimes we get a lot of snow, 2020 was bad but 2021 was pretty mild. I can see the savings in omitting the center struts especially since lumber prices are now skyrocketing. If you wouldn't mind giving me some advice I would greatly appreciate it. In all actuality the winds blow about 20+ mph. On average and 70 mph. gusts happen about three or four times a year. I really wish this design could work considering the savings have me seriously wanting to build one. Have you had any experience with it in high winds? Well I can see my comments are 12 years late but I am hopeful that I might connect with you. Best Regards!
